The Real World is a Matrix modification for Max Payne. What separates this mod from the mass of other Matrix mods, is the new levels and the story faithful to the movie.

Combine a massive arsenal of lightning-fast punches, kicks, and cool signature takedown moves to devastate your opponents with style! Whether you’re fighting an army of Smiths, or just the one, simple and intuitive controls put the power of ‘The One’ at your fingertips.

Deep combo system lets you mix and match moves to create your own custom combos. Build up ‘momentum’ to grow more powerful, and discover hidden techniques for countering punches, disarming guns, and crushing your opponent’s guard.

Use special melee weapons like the staff to decimate through waves of opponents, or enable ‘trickster’ mode and use your firearms as melee weapons as well!

Play it your way - Customisation
A first for Max Payne -- TRW’s specially designed launcher program lets you create a unique profile and configure the mod in any way you want. Fancy playing the Burly Brawl as Trinity? Or raid the Lobby as Morpheus? Perhaps you simply want to find out who would really win in a fight between Seraph and Agent Smith? No problem! Simply choose your favourite character, costume, and fighting style and you’re set!

Want some more? -- Hell yes! Shootdodges, wall jumps, and off-line skills are all customisable. Special abilities like Bullet-Dodging, Countering, Wall Running, Trickster, and more can be switched on or off, according to your preference.
